Are you on facebook? I have been for a few years, but recently everyone and their mother (including mine) have a fb page. At first, I was a little apprehensive about the idea that my family would get to be a little more involved in my personal life. However, I got over that quickly. It has made it a whole lot easier to keep in touch and for my family to see pictures from the happenings of my life. Much more than they were getting from just reading my blog entries.


Currently, my mom, dad, step dad, brother, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, step sister, 3 aunts, 4 cousins, and other relatives have a fb page. I really have kept in touch A LOT better with my Arkansas family with the added communication portal.

It's insane to think back a few years and how far we have come with technology. Overall I think that facebook is a good thing and is enabling reconnection with old friends and family. Without it and the internet it would be a lot tougher to find those longlost buddies!

If you don't have a fb page, get one today! You'd be surprised as to how many people you will reconnect with!
