The last day there was my favorite. Since it was Saturday, my parents joined us on a trip to Arlington Cemetery and Fort McHenry. We took a tour of the cemetery and saw the changing of the guards which was breathtaking.

Thursday night, Mom & Charley treated us to a baseball game at Camden Yards. It was a blast and my favorite part was by far the fireworks. What can I say, I'm my mother's daughter!!

What makes it famous...

Our second trip back to Washington D.C. was reserved for the monuments. Again, we had GREAT weather and spent the day mastering the Metro and seeing all the monuments around the city.
