Let It Go...

What are you carrying that is aging your body, soul, and spirit? Try Jesus’ solutions: for a bitter, unforgiving spirit, forgive; for guilt, confess; for regret over past sin, believe Christ has forgiven you; and for anxiety, cast it on God, because He cares for you.

Matthew 11:28-30 (New Living Translation)

28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

1 Peter 5:7 (New Living Translation)

7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

I know for me it’s the constant struggle of the choice of giving into the flesh and walking in the spirit provided by God in heavenly ways; passionately trying to make a mark and difference with my own life rather than exulting God for who he is.

Always the consequences of not being obedient to God keep me focus on the prize. Philippians 3:13: … “forgetting what lies behind but straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 I continue my pursuit toward the goal, the prize of God’s upward calling, in Christ Jesus.”

The real question that I have to ask you is what is it carrying that is aging your body, soul, and spirit for you?

I worry about a lot of things. It's so much easier though to let God take care of me and everything that burdens me. Definitely makes for a better day!

Hope the move is going well!
